guiding career, Vern made the decision to
quit life as a fishing guide and start making
knives seriously.
Today Vern is a full time knife maker
combining his sporting and artistic interests
to create a range of highly collectable and
usable knives.
Verns knives are meticulously
constructed. By using rare and
highly figured New Zealand
timbers and very hard steel, Vern
creates knives that are works of
art and will give a lifetime of hard
