different rivers, which can be floated or fished
from the shore.
-Over 10yrs drift boating experience and a life
times interest in fishing and boating gives us the
ability to offer a diverse range of trips that will
accommodate most angling styles and techniques.
-The Drift boat also gives people with certain
disabilities the opportunity to enjoy some great
fishing experiences.
-Please feel free to enquire as to what we have
available, and see if we can create a custom made
trip to suit your requirements.

 

We offer two types of trips

#1 day trips that are located around the Nelson, Mapua area
these includes the famous Motueka River, Pelorus River,
Wairau River
#2 trips offer more adventurous type trips that target remote
areas, offering a more wilderness type experience and
a chance to catch larger trout.
More planning is involved in these trips, often involving
accommodation stays outside of the Nelson area,
these areas include, Golden Bay, Blenheim, Buller Region
and North Canterbury,


 

  • Season: 1st October ~ 30th April
  • Maximum of 2 guided anglers per trip
  • Food and Beverages provided
  • Some gear available if required
  • Fishing licenses sold on behalf of NZ Fish and Game
  • Spin Fishing trips available
  • Accommodation can be arranged on your behalf

 

 

What to bring:

Rods: #6-7 8.5 - 9ft with brown or green floating lines (avoid fluorescent lines)
Fly's: bring your favourites, we supply as well
Clothing: subtle coloured clothing, waders and weather proof gear
Polarized glasses
Sunscreen
Suitable Hat
Camera
